Last weekend we went on a campout to blue ridge reservoir. Brynne got the nickname 'Brynne the Brave' after being the only kid willing to have a 2 foot long snake draped around her neck. Duncan was working on his perfect rowing form, and Maren was pretty much ballast for the canoe. It was a lot of fun.

Oh my word--she IS brave!! I am so impressed! Snakes scare me to death.
Looks fun. Snakes are fun to play with, until they bite you and inject venomous death, but besides that, yea, pretty cool. Way to go Brynne, you just cheated the grim reaper.
Looks like a good time, for everyone except the snake. When I clicked on the picture to make it bigger, it looked like the snake is either wounded...or having a bowel movement. Brynne is brave!

Spectacular scenery and fun, fun, fun in the canoes! How close is this to Flagstaff? It's so great to see pics of you all! Wow, Brynne, you deserve the new title- I'd be screaming my head off!
